Hot Yoga

Hot yoga is a demanding series of postures with two breathing exercises performed in a precise order, in a room heated to 100+ degrees. This 90 minute program systematically works the entire body, concentrating on the essence of every organ, bone, joint, muscle, ligament, tendon, blood vessel, nerve and gland. Incorporating strength, balance and flexibility, Hot Yoga stimulates the mind, restores and shapes the body. Students are guided through a comprehensive, total body work-out, promoting healing and creating a sense of emotional and mental balance. This technique is tailored to the Western culture, more specifically, addressing problems created by job stress, poor nutrition, bad postures, and aggressive lifestyles. Be prepared to work hard and sweat! With regular practice, this series will build and maintain an awakened, energized and centered body. All ability levels welcome. (90 minutes in 105 degrees)
