Kerri Kelly

Kerri Kelly was drawn to yoga in 1999 after a series of running and sports-related injuries. She quickly discovered the power of yoga, not only as a way to heal her body, but also as a spiritual tool to cultivate strength and grace in all aspects of her life.

Kerri has been teaching in the Bay Area ever since, and uses her classes to inspire others toward healing and transformation through yoga.  Her teaching is known to be challenging and playful, as she guides her students on a journey of awakening potential and embodying purpose.   She balances a dynamic physical practice with intelligent alignment instruction and motivational context. She inspires her students to take their yoga practice off the mat and into the world.

Kerri believes in the power of yoga to inspire and ignite real change.  As Global Catalyst for Off the Mat, Into the World, an organization bridging yoga and activism, Kerri mentors individuals in finding their purpose and putting it into action.  She is dedicated to mobilizing the yoga community around positive social change.

Kerri has been greatly inspired by teachers Janet Stone, Seane Corn, Max Strom and Desiree Rumbaugh and continues to explore many styles of yoga to ensure integrity, creativity and balance in her classes.
