In the name of gratitude

We have added a community class every Thursday night, taught by Laura Flier, with a reduced drop-in rate (sliding scale). Half of all the proceeds collected from this flow class will go to yogaHOPE.org, a non-profit that brings yoga, to women, in “safe”houses all over the country www.yogahope.org.

Also in the name of gratitude, please participate in our food drive for the San Francisco food bank. We ask that you bring one non-perishable, dried or canned good to every class with you. We understand you sometimes walk or use public transportation but all efforts are appreciated. See if you can throw a can of tuna or a can of soup with you every time you come. We have a San Francisco Food bank container at the yoga studio. Every time it fills they pick it up and leave us with an empty one so keep the cans coming!

Fundamentals of yoga / Yoga 101

This foundational class is great for beginning students looking for a thorough introduction to yoga. Intermediate and advanced students may optimize their practice with a refreshing review of the fundamentals.

This class teaches the traditional body positions (asanas) while promoting breath and movement awareness, correct structural alignment, and mental focus.

You will get a work-out as you build inner awareness and mental clarity while reducing stress and tension. This class is also good for students who feel flow moves too fast right now. Yoga Fundamentals / Yoga 101 starts this Wednesday, June 25th at 7:45 with our Senior teacher Pete Guinosso.
